Hotel brands and chains can manage properties and the data associated with those properties within VScape through a couple of options. Your options include syncing to a GDS, automated property files or manual property management.
Here’s how to manage your properties in VScape via these options:
Syncing to a GDS
If you choose to sync to a specific GDS, like Sabre for example, the active properties you have listed in Sabre will automatically sync over to VScape when Sabre pushes us the content. This means easy management of properties!
As you register your hotels in the GDSs, that information will flow from your specified GDS into VScape. No need to notify us at Leonardo, no need for additional management. When you cancel a property in your specified GDS, this action will remove the property from VScape once we receive the information from that GDS. It’s that easy!
Automated Property Files
If you belong to a brand that has over 100 properties to manage, automated property files are the best way to manage your properties. Just place a .csv file listing all the properties onto our FTP and the system will automatically grab and process the entries. These properties will, in-turn, appear automatically in your VScape tree.
Manual Property Management
To manage your properties manually, simply email the support team with all the property details including hotel name, address, city, and country. The team will add this property to your VScape tree.
If you have any questions regarding property management, feel free to contact your Account Manager who can discuss with you your best options.
