The VFM Leonardo IT Operations groups performed a reboot of one of the VScape web servers that services https://clientservices.vfmii.com 2 April at approximately 11:30AM EDT. This reboot was unscheduled and was required due to an anomaly on the server that caused a significant degradation in performance of the VScape user interface.
The degredation in performance was not considered severe enough to switch to failover systems. It lasted for approximately 90 minutes prior to the server reboot. A limited number of users may have experienced slower than normal performance or might not have been able to reach VScape normally during this period.
The team is continuing to investigate the cause of the problem that lead to the manual reboot to avoid the same issue in the future.
VScape operation has been restored to normal and there is no impact to any data. You do not need to do anything or take any action.
This unplanned maintenance is not related to the maintenance scheduled for tomorrow. The maintenance scheduled for tomorrow will be proceeding as planned.
We appologize for this unplanned incident and regret any inconvenience caused to you or your company. As always we are greatful for your business.
